About
I'm a senior software engineer at Getty Images, working on
platform reliability, frontend infrastructure, and migrating legacy Rails systems to
Nest.js and TypeScript. My expertise spans several critical domains including site reliability engineering, information security, and
reducing tech debt across microfrontends at scale.
I came to engineering non-traditionally. International studies and philosophy degree,
career transition bootcamp, then ten years building up from there. But I was already
thinking this way before the switch: I taught myself Ruby at my old job to wrangle large
datasets and automate the tedious parts away. I've always been drawn to making work easier
and clearer for myself and the people around me.
That instinct translates well to building systems with AI. Outside work, I build autonomous AI agent systems: multi-agent architectures with task-specialized subagents, local LLM inference, and tool-using agents wired into real workflows. I'm interested in how agentic systems change the shape of software: what becomes a skill vs. a service, how context flows between agents, and where determinism still matters. I wrote about this in The work isn't prompting.
